Three local teams blast their way into Cup finals

Three local teams have reached the finals of the Lisburn Junior Invitational Cup.

Lisburn Youth beat Ballymena Youth in the U12s semi-final and will play Windmill Star, 3-0 winners over Hillsborough Boys, in the final.

Hillsborough Boys went through to the under-13 final with a 2-0 win over Loughgall Youth and will play Shankill Juniors in a repeat of the Shield final.

Lisburn Youth beat Carrick Rangers 1-0 in the 14s to set up a final with Annagh Utd Youth, but Hillsborough Boys lost 1-0 to Portadown Youth in the U17s.

Lisburn Distillery Youth have still to play two semi-finals - the under-15s against Shankill on May 3 and the under-16s against Bloomfield Youth tomorrow (Saturday).
