Table quiz at Orange Hall

Smithytown Cultural Association in Magheramorne has outlined a number of activities for the year ahead.

The group, which is based in the Old Orange Hall in Magheramorne, is planning a table quiz, Somme commemoration event and cultural talks during the year.

The first of the events will be a table quiz in the Orange Hall on April 27, at 7.30pm. Teams should comprise of five members and the table quiz will be general knowledge-based. The suggested donation is £3 per team member and everyone is welcome.

In June the Cultural Association will take part in an event at the grave of one of the Somme veterans from the area in Larne Cemetery. There will also be a number of cultural talks to be delivered by Dr David Hume.
