Planning application in Broughshane is postponed
At last Thursday night’s Public Sector Liaison Committee meeting, members heard the application for 15 apartments to be built at the re-development of 1-3 Fir Park, was pulled from the schedule.
Councillor Paul Frew said the area already has to deal with traffic problems, he said: “There are double yellow lines but people choose to ignore them, and this brings the road down.

Senior Planning Officer Denise Kerr told the meeting that traffic problems are a police issue, she said:” It’s not our remit to enforce parking restrictions, we cannot do police work.”
