A reception has been held at the Mayor’s Parlour to pay tribute to Jackson Minford, a senior officer in the Roads Service who has had a long connection with the Larne borough.

Mr Minford, who has served the borough for over 40 years, is transferring to the Antrim and Newtownabbey Council areas.

Local councillors, Chief Executive Geraldine McGahey and members of the Larne Town Centre Committee joined Mayor Maureen Morrow to acknowledge the effective working relationship Mr Minford has had with Larne Council over the years, and offered him good wishes for the future.
