Fox ousts a squirrel
Even the garden bully, our squirrel, froze and then took to his heels, darting into the hedge and up the nearest tree.
Normally when we put out fruit scraps for the perishers they don’t leave the feeders until every last morsel has been hoovered up.

Hide AdSeconds after the squirrel scarpered Ronnie and I were astonished when a fox strolled into the garden and started eating the apple scraps and melon rinds that we had put out for the birds and squirrels to enjoy.
When made it all the more fascinating was that the fox was abroad in broad daylight - it was only about 5.30pm. She stayed for a good 15 minutes and fortunately for us, chose to eat one of the melon rinds right in front of the garden cam.
We have not seen her since. She just cleaned up round her and meandered off.
I hope you enjoy the short video attached, and if you have any videos of garden visitors, whey not share them. Alternatively, if you have a fun video of a family pet, we’ed love to see that too.
