Windows smashed in Hampton Crescent ‘hate crime’

Larne PSNI are appealing for information following an incident at a house at Hampton Crescent in Larne during the early hours of Wednesday March 1.

Constable Manderson said: “It was reported that shortly after midnight, bricks were thrown at the windows of the house. However no damage was caused.

“We are treating this incident as a racially-motivated hate crime and would like to hear from anyone who has any information that could assist us with our enquiries.

“We are also investigating an incident at the same house on Tuesday February 7, during which a window was broken in the living room.

“Anyone with information can contact police in Larne on 101, quoting reference number 15 01/03/17 or reference number 79 07/02/17.”
