New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Belfast’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Belfast’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Istanbul Kebab, at 269 Woodstock Road, Belfast was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 9.

And Ruby House, at 212-214 Springfield Road, Belfast was also given a score of three on December 9.

It means that of Belfast's 394 takeaways with ratings, 202 (51%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
