Walker and Magee win at Gracehill

ALEX Walker and Greg Magee won the GUI Centenary Better-Ball Competition at Gracehill Golf Club with a tremendous 45pts. They now have the opportunity to represent Gracehill at the regional finals on 23rd June with the aim to qualifying for the Grand Final at Royal Belfast on 1st September - good luck to them on 
their quest!

Meanwhile in the Sunday Sweep it was double delight for Ian Morrison playing off 6 who won the sweep for a consecutive week with 41pts.

After making the turn 2 over par he continued to make steady progress and was constructing a good round of golf.

However, a good round transformed into a winning round as he birdied 2 of the last four holes.

Jimmy McClenaghan playing off 10 was 2nd with 39pts. After an uninspiring start Jimmy found his grove and played a string of 9 holes in level par, now that is golfing your ball! Shaun McCook playing off 11 was 3rd with 38pts. Steven Bell picked up the gross prize with a 78.
