Town hand out senior awards

LURGAN Town FC recent handed out their senior awards.

The presentations were made by Lynsey Godon from the Natural Hair Company, Lisburn, one of the club’s main sponsors.

The award winners were as follows:

Player of the Year: Senior Team - Adam Stewart/David Clarke; Reserve Team - Martin Murtagh; Under 17 - Adam Harrison; Under 18 - Aaron Parks.

Players’ Player of the Year: Senior Team - Matthew Clarke; Reserve Team - Matthew Johnston; Under 18 - Matthew Johnston

Young Player of the Year: Senior Team - Aaron Parks; Reserve Team - Adam Harrison.

Clubman of the Year: Senior Team - Scott Gordon; Reserve Team - Robbie Redpath; Under 17 - Ciaran Rooney; Under 18 - Jamie Hall.

2011/2012 Season - Goalscorer of the Year: Senior Team - Gregg Harrison; Reserve Team - Andrew Houston; Under 17 - Luke Forsey; Under 18 - Andrew Houston.

Most Improved Player of the Year: Senior Team - Davy Trainor; Reserve Team - Kyle Cousins; Under 17 - Jamie Devlin; Under 18 - Kyle Cousins.
