Tony McCrory spoils the party
Tony McCrory, St Paul’s, spoiled the chances of domination by Ballinderry and Hillsborough Social in the National Singles when he won one of the six places for the Lisburn finals.
He beat Eamon Hamill, Aghagallon and Glen Harvey, Anahilt Presbyterian, who had won against Eddie Marsden, Ballinderry.

Hide AdMcCrory will meet Gordon Stubbs, Ballinderry, who beat Scott Jess, Hillsborough Social in the other section as well as Dessie Hamilton, Pond Park. Jess had beaten James Johnston, Soldierstown.
In Section 2, Tony Wilkinson, St Joseph’s, had a surprise win over Andy Riley, Hillsborough Social, but lost to Ballinderry’s Paul Reid in the decider. Reid had earlier won against Michael Beattie, Hillsborough Social.
The other half resulted in a win for Nick Haire, Hillsborough Social, who won the decider against David Peden, Ballinderry . Haire had earlier beaten Roy Kennedy, Priesthill and Peden won against Gabriel Brankin, St Clare’s.
In Section 3, Raymond Stubbs, Ballinderry beat Craig McConnell, Hilden and Simon Cavan, Hillsborough Social to reach the final. Cavan had beaten Jim Johnston, Soldierstown.

Hide AdNathan Haire, Hillsborough Social came through in the other half after beating Jim Chapman, St Paul’s, who had won against Stevie Mulholland, St Joseph’s. Haire beat Lennie Graham, Ballinderry.
National Triple
All Ballinderry triples decider
It will be an all Ballinderry National triples decider when Eddie Marsden meets Raymond Stubbs.
Marsden beat Dessie Hamilton, Pond Park in one decider following a win over Paul Cairnduff and Hamilton beat W. Beattie.
In the other half Stubbs beat Keith Morrison following a win over Brian Kerr. Morrison won againstnAdrian McNevison.

Over £600 in prizes at Loughaghery pairs
There will be over £600 in prizes at the Loughaghery Open Pairs Tournament from Monday to Thursday, November 17 to 20 with the finals night on Friday, November 21, starting at 7pm sharp.
