New date set for derby game

GLENAVON'S Mid-Ulster derby against Portadown has been rearranged for next Tuesday, January 12, at Mourneview Park (kick-off 7.45pm).

The club’s other two postponed fixtures from the holiday period have also been re-scheduled and the Blues will now face Newry City at home on Tuesday.

They are also set to play Lisburn Distillery on Tuesday, February 23, at New Grosvenor but that game may yet be moved to Tuesday, January 19, providing that neither side has an Irish Cup replay on that date. Both games against Newry and Distillery will kick-off at 7.45pm.
