Larne Athletic Club had a fantastic turnout at the first race of East Antrim Harriers Summer Trail Series.
Twenty-seven runners from the local club were among over 300 participants who took on the undulating three-mile course around Woodburn Forest on Tuesday (May 10).
John Neill was first home for Larne, clocking 18:19 to take sixth place overall (1st in M35 category).
Andy Gregg was 14th overall and took first in the M45 category in a time of 18:51. He was followed by Martan Keane 15th (19:05), Martin Agnew 16th (19:10) and David Noble 17th (19:12).
Patricia Blair was first Larne AC lady home in 20:17, taking 37th overall and first in the F35 category.
Emmett Woods crossed the line in 85th (23:07), while Dan Magill was 86th (23:12), Mark Todd 94th (23:32), and Alan Lockington 111st (23:32).
Lorraine Wharry was the second female home for Larne in 24:37, which placed her in 114th overall and second in the F40 category.
She was closely follow my Jenna McCollum (116th, 24:39) and Bernie Ragan came in 134th overall, winning the F55 category with a time of 25:21. Next home was Janine Rainey 140th overall, taking second place in her F50 category in a time 25:28.
