At the Fairhill 5-mile Road Race the Harriers dug deep to deliver strong performances.
Special mention goes to those who took on the distance for the first time, particularly Janet Barr-Crandles who recently completed the club’s Couch to 5k programme. On the parkrun scene, 18 Harriers took part in eight events across County Antrim. Special mention to Stephen Sweet, Rhonda Barkley and Johnny Loughead on their parkrun debuts; and to Brian McFall, Fiona McGowan, Carol Conn, Charlotte Higgins, and Lynette McBride on their parkrun PBs.
Sunday saw 11 Harriers (including 3 marathon debutants), take part in the Walled City Marathon, Londonderry. The Harriers, buoyed by the support of fellow club members and the crowds, all ran well and finished strongly.
