Richard ‘Wossie’ Stinson playing off 7 was a point further back with 40pts. A 3 over round of golf certainly qualifies as steady, all of which was facilitated with birdies at the 3rd and 15th.

Ivan Walker (14) was 3rd with 39pts. In division 2 Charles Hamill playing off 16 was in tremendous form with a winning score of 43pts. After making the turn 4 under his card Charles certainly had everything under control. However even with a mishap at the 10th this didn’t effect his performance as he only dropped a further 2 shots as he made his way to the 18th green.

In 2nd place was Robert Adams playing off 28 with 41pts. After a solid performance over the front 9 Robert really found his form on the back 9 and finished with 3 fabulous pars. Trevor Moore (22) had 41pts and was beaten on countback into 3rd place. Robert McNeill won the gross with a 2 over 74.

* St Patrick’s Day Open - Randal McDonnell playing off 6 continued his winning form picking up his second victory of the weekend with another 41pts. Again pars were in plentiful supply and bar a lost ball at the 9th his round could have been truly remarkable. However, birdies at the 12th and 15th allowed him to forget about his troubles quickly and stride on to victory.
