“The League Cup is our top knockout competition and has created so many exciting games and Finals over the years, none more so than last season’s thrilling final in which Cliftonville retained the trophy for the third year in 3-2 to beat Ballymena United 3-2.

“With JBE’s support the League Cup will undoubtedly be just as exciting during what is our 125th anniversary season.”

John Blair, Managing Director of JBE said: “We feel this League Cup sponsorship will be fantastic for developing our company brand and subsequently will increase visibility in our marketplace.

“As a long life supporter of Ballymena United Football Club, we hope that our local team can go one step closer in this competition and lift the trophy!”
