Jack is new senior captain

AT the annual sinner of the seniors section of Banbridge Golf Club last Friday, Jack Bickerstaff was announced as the incoming captain for 2010.

This was a very popular choice as Jack had worked in tandem with the 2009 captain, Felix Duffy, and it had proved to be a near perfect combination.

The senior section incorporates the mid-Ulster Senior Alliance, the Veterans Cup and the Jimmy Carroll Trophy.

The number of senior members increases every year and the competition for places on the various teams is very keen indeed.

We all wish Jack an enjoyable and successful year in 2010.
