Shot-gun start at Foyle

THE Club Stableford, competition, which took place in terrible weather conditions at Foyle on Saturday, was won by Raymond Keys (24) after he scored 42 points.

Second was James Meehan (27) who scored 41 points and the CSS was 35 points. Last Wednesday’s competition was claimed by Martin Kivelehan (5) after he scored 40 points and Damien McColgan (13) with 39 points was second. The CSS was 37 points.

Foyle Captain, Mr. Eddie Ball, invites all members to play for his Captain’s Prizes on Saturday, July 21. Those intending to take part are asked to enter their names on the sheet provided in the shop on or before Monday, July 16, when the draw for paying partners will be made.

Meanwhile, the annual 18 hole scramble for Ladies, Gents and Juveniles and barbecue will take place this Friday, with a shot gun start at 5.30pm and all members taking part are asked to have entered their name on the sheet in the shop by tomorrow (Thursday), when the draw for teams will take place.
