Capital Trust Kevin Doherty Day
Sunday coming will see the playing if the Strand Golfing Society’s second ‘Major’ the Kevin Doherty Memorial Cup.
This esteemed competition will again be generously sponsored by David Lamont of Capital Trust. David is also the holder of the trophy as winner from last year. Nan Doherty will present a donation to a charity of her choice on the night.
Many prizes are up for grabs as well as the coveted trophy. These include second to fourth, best gross, best visitor, nearest the pin and longest drive together with the Ladies Competition on the Riverside Course. Weather permitting there will be a good turnout and the prizegiving will be held at 5pm.
