Tobermore draw Linfield in Irish Cup
Tobermore United are set to host their biggest Irish Cup tie since the famous George Best appearance in 1984, Irish League leaders Linfield drawn away to the South Derry side in next month’s fifth round.
Fortwilliam Park will surely host a capacity crowd for the glamour match against Warren Feeney’s rejuvenated team on Saturday, January 10.
Memories will be rekindled of that remarkable contest when the now deceased former Manchester United and Northern superstar signed for the minnows to play against Ballymena United, who turned out to be party-poopers by winning 7-0.
