Northend United Youth FC round-up: Blues go on goal spree

NORTHEND United U11s went on a goalscoring spree at the weekend in the North West and Coleraine District Youth League, with an emphatic 11-2 win over Irish Championship Academy side Institute in one of their best performances of the season.

Also in the North West and Coleraine and District Youth League the U9s lost to Carniny in a League Match, in a match where finishing continues to be their downfall.

The U12s’ uncharacteristic poor form continued with a 3-2 defeat to Carnmoney FDC in the Belfast and East Antrim League while the U13s and U14s also lost to St Andrews and Cookstown respectively.

The Football Development Centre was again packed to capacity for the penultimate Friday night session at the Ballymena North Centre, while Dare to be Different continued in its usual slot on Wednesday night.
