“We have a vision for the future and it begins here,” said manager Graham McConnell. “It has various elements – short-term, medium-term and long-term – and we want to unite everyone so that we all have the same aims.

“It is open to members, like those in the Red and Whites Supporters Club who attend all our matches, to others who come to some games but not all of them and to people who maybe have been members of perhaps have at some time thought about becoming members but never got round it – or just to folk who might be interested in seeing what others have to say about the football club.

“From my own viewpoint as manager, I think it is a great opportunity to get everyone together under one roof to hear the different thoughts and opinions and to help bond us all in one common cause. And I would urge anyone reading this article to please come down on Thursday night,” urged the manager, who revealed: “One important aspect of the new way forward is that the new membership scheme.”
