Cleary scored the winning goal in the game at Suffolk Road but should have sat out the fixture when he served just one game of what was in effect a two-match ban.

He had picked up a one-match ban for picking up five yellow cards during the course of the season and another suspension after being sent off in the game at Ballymena United.
