FOOTBALL: Coleraine lads selected for Northern Ireland U14s
TWO local footballers will put on the green jersey of Northern Ireland later this month.
Jake Francis and Michael Gilmore will travel to Manchester with a Northern Ireland Under 14 Select team to take on the Manchester City Academy.
Michael is a pupil at Dominican College in Portstewart and plays his club football at Maiden City, while Jake, a Coleraine Inst pupil plays for Oxford United Stars.
The prommising footballers are both part of the County Londonderry Excellence programme and the Northern Ireland Elite squad.
