Bushmills Distillery side victorious in Diageo Cup NI tournament
The competition was played at Crusders FC’s Seview ground on the Shore Road and drew a large crowd of spectators on the day.
The weather was good for most of the day but they did have a wee bit of a rain shower but it didn’t last too long and it certainly didn’t dampen the spirit of the day.

Hide AdThe four sites brought a good number of supporters to the event and the kids certainly had a blast with the bouncy castle and the face painter
On the pitch one team dominated and that was Bushmills, they romped to overall victory without conceding a goal.
The boys from Boucher put up a good effort and came in a respectful second place, with Marshalls Road and Bailey’s fighting over the wooden spoon trophy.
A real good team spirit by every site was shown on the day. Organisers would like to thank everyone who attended on the day, and a massive thank you to everyone who purchased a raffle ticket A magnificent £567.60 was raised for the NI Hospice.
