Stephen King was officially appointed as Islandmagee’s third manager of the season on Sunday (January 10).
King, who leaves Ballyclare-based side Grange Rangers fifth in Division 2C, takes over from Mark Duff who quit last week after just over a month in charge.
A statement issued to the Times read: “After a hard few months the club is confident it’s now got the long-term future manager of the club.”
Duff, who succeeded Davy Rollo, was announced as boss on December 3 but he stepped down from the role on Wednesday evening.
In November, new man King, 30, turned down an offer to manage the Wilbourne Park outfit.
Islandmagee are bottom of the Premier Division and are still searching for their first league win of the season after 13 outings.
