Draw made for Schools’ Cup

Four East Antrim schools will take part in this year’s Ulster Bank Schools’ Cricket Cup and all have been kept apart in this year’s first-round draw.

Ballyclare High School will be at home to Lurgan College, while Belfast High School and Larne Grammar will be away from home - the former to Royal School Dungannon and Larne to Sullivan Upper School in Holywood.

The kindest draw has gone to Carrickfergus Grammar School. They received a bye into the second round when they will travel to Wallace High School in Lisburn.

The draw for the first round to be played on or before April 24 is: Ballyclare High School v Lurgan College; Dalriada School v Friends School; Royal School Armagh v Campbell College II; RBAI II v Regent House; Grosvenor Grammar School v Ballymena Academy; Banbridge Academy v RBAI; BRA v Bangor Grammar School; Foyle College v Limavady Grammar School; Strabane Academy v Down High School; Friends School II v Grosvenor GS II; Royal School Dungannon v Belfast High School; Sullivan Upper School v Larne Grammar School; Campbell College v Methodist College.

Three schools received a bye into the second round: Coleraine AI, while Wallace High School will play Carrickfergus Grammar School.
