Champions Byrnes A rally back to claim another win

Belfast Indoor Bowling Club made the long journey to Byrnes A and it looked fruitful as they took a 2-1 lead only to see the champions win the next five for a 6-2 victory.

Byrnes A winners were N Dunwoody (3x100, 123, 140, K Campbell (3x100, 140, 19 and 21 darts), R Montgomery (4x100, 2x140, 180, 14 and 19 darts), D Geddis (2x100, 140, 18 darts), G Bell (4x100), S Lennon (100, 180, 17 darts). BLBC winners were E Dobbin (3x100) and M Ferguson (2x100).

Maghaberry A welcomed Ballinderry to the Arm and immediately went 3-0 down. They rallied to grab the next two but Ballinderry ultimately claimed a 6-3 victory.

Maghaberry A winners were R Mitchell (3x100), P Presho (4x100) and P Kirkwood (100). Ballinderry winners were W English (2x140, 180), H Todd (3x100, 140), E Moulds (100, 2x140, 20 and 21 darts), Neil Brown (100, 2x140, 19 darts), G rea (4x100, 140, 18 darts), W Hall (2x100).

Ballymacash, at home to Reids Corner, looked to be in trouble going 2-1 behind. They then came good, taking five of the next six for a deserved 6-3 victory.

Ballymacashg winners were A Presho (2x100, 140), T Heasley (100, 140), P McKeown (3x100), T Bustard (100, 140), S Parker and S Gardiner. Reids Corner winners were G Walsh (2x100), S Walsh (100, 140) and D McCallister (3x100).

Ballinderry A went down 6-1 to their visitors the Crows with some fantastic throwing and finishing on show. Crows winners were J Watson (2x100, 134, 118 o/s), P Lynn (2x100, 121), W Harkness, K Kennedy (100), D Kay (2x100, 137), M Ageuriro and A Hanlon (100, 121, 140).

second division

Manor Inn beat Laganview 6-0 and had the highest o/s of the week from E Davis with a 150 finish. Other winners were A Lyness (100, J Somerville (100), J Fowler (100), M Hanna and C Adams.
