BOWLS: All Saints wrap up league title
LB<C suffered a rare home defeat at the hands of Kilwaughter, but the result was inconsequential to the destiny of the title.
Cairncastle have been on the charge of late and their excellent six points away to Whitehead could see them snatch second place from the bowlers if they win their remaining fixtures.

Hide AdLB<C did recover to claim six points at home to First Larne, who suffered a similar defeat at Raloo.
Blue Circle won a tight match 5-2 at home to St Cedma’s and Gardenmore recorded the same winning margin at home to Islandmagee.
Craigyhill had endured a torrid season, losing all their games with just one fixture remaining. They travelled to L&K last Monday and came away with six points to lift themselves off the bottom of the table.
The final of the Wilson Cup takes place next Monday when holders LB<C meet All Saints in a repeat of last year’s conclusion.

Hide AdThe Saints must start as favourites given the form they have been in, but the bowlers have won most of their recent encounters, so it should be a thriller.
On Tuesday evening the same two teams, along with Raloo and East Antrim powerhouse Mossley, will contest the semi-finals of the John Logan Cup at Gardenmore.
All four teams are former winners with All Saints the defending champions (their only recent success against LB<C was in last year’s final). It should be another great night’s bowling whatever the draws turn out to be.
Upcoming fixtures
Thursday, March 12: Islandmagee v L&K; All Saints v Rangers.
Monday, March 16: St Cedma’s v Islandmagee, Wilson Cup final at Ballynure.
Tuesday, March 17: Rangers v Ballynure, John Logan semi-final at Gardenmore.
