Vote early and often for Model PS pupils
MAYOR Kevin Campbell is asking the people of the city to vote for the Model PS in its bid to win a £3k fitness competition.
The Fit Factor competition is designed to help teachers promote four key areas essential for health development, healthy eating, self expression and physical activity and creativity in an effort to increase their pupils chances of becoming healthy adults.
The Model prepared a scrap book about healthy eating, made posters to promote it in the school and made a DVD with the Gangham Style dance on it and a yoga session in the Waterside Theatre. Voting closes on Friday, May 17 at 5pm vote at www.fitfactor.co.uk and vote for the Model PS.
The Mayor said he was impressed with the work carried out by the school on the project.
