VIDEO: Traders turn out to have say on Public Realm plan
Representatives of Ballymoney Street’s business community turned out in large numbers to have their say on a town centre plan which they fear could hamper their trade.
There were heated exchanges at Friday afternoon’s meeting hosted by Ballymena Borough Council in The Braid with some traders complaining that they weren’t be given sufficient opportunity to speak.
Their fear is that the scheme could reduce on street parking on Ballymoney Street by 60%.
