The pair were also joined by former Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Carla Lockhart and Upper Bann MP David Simpson at the farm, which belongs to Mr Charles Weir.
Speaking after the visit, Mayor Lockhart said: “To have Diane and Harry Sinclair fielding important questions was an opportunity I wanted to afford to local farmers, and I know this provided a valuable opportunity to have their voices heard and to make representation on behalf of their industry.”

Hide AdMs Dodds added: “These are difficult times for farmers, and at long last we are getting some good weather that should help alleviate some of the problems with fodder that many local farmers have been facing. Farmers are telling me time and again that what they need more than anything is a fair price for their product, a product that meets the highest standards and as such, is costly to produce.”
MP David Simpson commented: “Our agri-food industry is a huge employer across the Upper Bann constituency, and it is notable that despite the economic downturn, the agri-food sector has seen growth while other industries struggle.”
