Motorists have been advised to avoid the Kilrea Road, Upperlands due to a two-vehicle traffic collision.
Police issued a warning on the situation shortly before 9am this morning (October 5).
A PSNI spokesperson confirmed: “The road is badly congested and police are advising motorists to avoid the area and seek an alternative route for your journey at this time.”
