One person was transferred to hospital by ambulance following a road traffic collision in Whitehead last night (Wednesday).
The Belfast Road in the village was closed in both directions following the three-vehicle collision, which occurred shortly before 8pm.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said: “NIAS received a 999 call at 7.50pm on Wednesday following reports of a road traffic collision in the Belfast Road area.
“NIAS despatched two ambulances to the incident.
“One patient was taken to Antrim Area Hospital by ambulance.”
