East Antrim road closed after landslide

Detailing the incident, a Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The Tower Road is closed in both directions between Waterfoot and Carnlough following a landslide close to the Garron Road (A2 Shore Road) junction at the weekend.”

Earlier this month the Larne Times reported that the Tower Road had been closed following a landslide close to St Killian’s College.
