Town management arrangements

IN THE absence of a Town Centre Manager, the council has made provision for council officers to fill the role.

Economic Development staff are to be in Lurgan Town Hall every Monday and Wednesday morning and afternoon - from 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm.

This is part of the council’s attempts to make its Town Centre Management function more easily accessible to retailers, traders and consumers in Lurgan.

Council staff are to use these times to get to know traders and retailers, addressing their issues and concerns and encouraging stronger relationships between the traders.

The arrangement will be reviewed by the council after one month.
