Summer Series of Music in the Cathedral
St Columb’s Cathedral is hosting a Summer Music Series at lunchtime on some of the Thursdays in July and August.
The opening event, on the Cathedral organ, will take place tomorrow, beginning at 1.10pm, when the recitalist will be Professor Desmond Hunter who has won many awards for his playing and is of international renown. Dr Hunter is the former Professor of Music in the University of Ulster.
Admission to the concert is free of charge. The Dean of Derry, Dr WIlliam Morton, extends a very warm invitation to all who would like to come along.
