Strongmen on way to Garvagh

SOME of Northern Ireland’s strongest men will be in Garvagh later this month.

As a fundraiser for Garvagh Community Playgroup, Garvagh High School will host the Northern Ireland heat of the strongman contest.

The event will take place next Saturday, May 28 from 11am to 4pm.

As well as the strongman heat, there will be various events throughout the day.

They will include Irish and Scottish dancers, school choirs, pony rides, a karate demonstration, face painting, nail painting, bouncy castles plus much more. There will also be stalls. You can book a stall now, £10 per table of carboots for £5 per car or £10 per trailer.
