Stroke Association looks for health promotion students

THE Stroke Association Northern Ireland is looking for health promotion students and health promotion professionals to volunteer in delivering sessions on smoking and stroke in Lisburn and across the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust area.

The Association is running a series of seminars called Lessons for Life – Stroke and Smoking to help raise awareness amongst students (11-12 years old and 16-17 years old) on stroke and smoking and the links between the two.

The seminars will be delivered during March and April and each will last around 40 minutes and accommodate 20-30 students at a time.
