Sponsored walk for TinyLife

Children and adults will be treated to Festive Carol Singing, from a local school choir and entertainment from the Community Circus. Children will all receive a set of Reindeer ears for their walk lead by Santa’s Elves around the lake. On completion of the walk Santa will arrive to see each child. Don’t forget to bring your letters with you on the day as Santa will be taking them back to the North Pole and replying to each one.

Adults will be treated to mulled wine, tea and coffee, sponsored by Starbucks, Lurgan, and shortbread by the Windsor Bakery in Banbridge. Participants will have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes sponsored by Debenhams, Rushmere. Every child will receive a small token from Santa, courtesy of Debenhams, Rushmere.

Community & Events Officer, Andrea Milligan said: “Christmas is always a special time to have a new baby, but for parents of a premature baby those feelings of joy and excitement turn to fear and anxiety making the days and weeks that follow a daunting and traumatic experience. Support our families by joining us on our walk on the 3rd and treating the children to a fun, festive day out.

“You can offer your support to those parents by joining us on our Reindeer Walk. The route is suitable for everyone in the family and those taking part will receive a pair of fun reindeer antlers. Participants are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £20 per family. The family who hands in the highest amount in sponsorship on the day will receive a special prize, donated by Debenhams, Rushmere.”
