Soccer club say thanks to Riding for Disabled

A local football club who used facilities owned by a neighbouring charitable organisation for training purposes, have recognised their generosity.

Bushmills United were keen to make a donation to the Riding for the Disabled Association in Coleraine and organised a quiz night in the Bush House Bar.

The event was well supported and raised 130 which has now been forwarded to the Association.

Bushmills manager, Stephen Kane, and chairman, Derek Elliott, both praised the Association for their co-operation and generosity and said the facilities made available to them for training over the winter months proved invaluable.

“We really appreciate the gesture,” Manager Kane said.

The club would also like to thank Iam and Marlene Thompson from Bush House Bar and all the public who took part.
