Sightings of missing Ballymena man were ‘false alarms’

The family of missing Ballymena man Johnathon Bonnes have revealed on social media that apparent sightings of him in Portrush were ‘false alarms’.

Police have yet to issue a further update to their appeal for information which was made in conjunction with the Bonnes family on Monday.

Mr. Bonnes (32) was last seen in the Carniny area of Ballymena last Wednesday morning

It is believed that he may have headed to the Portrush area that afternoon.

Mr Bones is described as being approximately 5’9” tall, of stocky build, with very short or shaved dark hair. He has tattoos on both arms.

When last seen he was wearing a navy hooded-top, dark blue tracksuit bottoms and black and white Nike Air Max trainers.

Mr Bones or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact their local police station on the new non-emergency number 101.
