Seniors celebrate Diamond Jubilee
BROOKMOUNT: At their June meeting, Brookmount Seniors celebrated the Diamond Jubilee with an old style afternoon tea party to which members were invited to bring items of Royal memorabilia.
Remarkably on display alongside a current diamond jubilee mug was another commemorating the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria.
Members also shared experiences of being in the crowd to welcome the Queen on Royal visits to the province.
