Roger and Val chalk up 50th car boot sale

ON Saturday the final car boot sale for this year is being held at the Old Rectory, 263 Whitepark Road, Dunseverick, Bushmills, from 9am-1pm.

Roger and Val Denny, the organisers hope for a good attendance as it will be their 50th Car Boot Sale held by them at their home and they look forward to welcoming everyone for this special occasion.

The usual hot and cold refreshments will be on sale and served in a covered area and there will be Val's home bake stall, clothing, household goods, bric-a-brac and a raffle. Normal charges apply, 5 for cars and 10 for vans and trailers.

There are parking facilities within the grounds of the property for disabled drivers and free car parking in an adjacent field. Toilet facilities are also available including disabled.

The last sale for Riding for the Disabled, in spite of atrocious weather conditions, proved very successful and they received a cheque for 1500.

Roger and Val would like to thank all the car booters and the general public for their loyal support, most especially turning out on such a dreadful day weather wise and hope the final sale will be favoured with better conditions, as without their support and also that of their devoted helpers to whom special thanks must be given, such results could not be achieved.
