Alliance East Antrim MLA, Stewart Dickson, has urged the public to engage with a Translink consultation on the level of noise caused by railway operations.

The consultation is open until June 17 and seeks information to help limit and reduce, where necessary, the number of people affected by noise arising from train services.

Mr Dickson said: “As well as improving service frequency, punctuality and access, Translink must also take steps to reduce the noise effects on the local community.”

He urged people with concerns to respond through him, or through the Translink website.
