Portstewart man accused of having indecent photos of children: Court

Jason Woodrow (26), whose address was previously given as Coleraine Road, Portstewart, faces three charges relating to June 3, 2015.

The charges are that he made an indecent photo or pseudo-photo of a child; possessed an indecent photo or pseudo-photograph of children and possessed an image of a child ‘which was of such a nature as is prohibited’ by the Coroners and Justice Act.

He had been before the court in early August and an officer told the latest hearing that with the previous bail address not being available the accused had no other option but to present himself to police as being in breach of his conditions.

The officer said police had no objection to a new bail address which was not disclosed in open court.

The case is due back in court on September 12.
