Pomeroy man charged with attempted murder over 2008 Castlederg bomb
A 44-year-old Pomeroy man has been charged with attempted murder in relation to a 2008 car bomb in Castlederg that left a police officer seriously injured.
He is expected to appear before Dungannon Magistrates Court this morning [Friday].
Detectives from Serious Crime Branch have also charged him with causing an explosion likely to endanger life or cause serious injury to property and belonging to or professing to belong to a proscribed organisation.
A 38-year-old man, who was also arrested by police on Wednesday, appeared in court on Thursday charged in connection with the same incident.
