Police seize scrambler-style motorbike in Rushpark
A picture of the seized bike was posted on the Newtownabbey PSNI Facebook page along with a message warning parents not to let their children get involved in “this carry on”.
“Following reports of scramblers riding dangerously in and around the area of The Oaks / Rush Park in Newtownabbey, officers attended and seized this bike,” the post said.

“This bike had no brakes and was totally unsuitable to be driven at all, never mind in a densely populated urban area.
“This bike was removed to Newtownabbey Station and may later be destroyed.
“Mums and Dads, are your kids involved in this carry on? Think about their safety and the safety of everyone else around them!”
