Police renew teen girl assault appeal

Police have identified four people involved in an assault on a teenage girl in Larne's Antiville estate on Friday June 16.

Police are appealing for information following the assault.

The PSNI is asking everyone who was involved to come forward as a matter of urgency.

A disturbing video, which appears to have been recorded by one of a number of onlookers and posted on social media, showed the victim being kicked in the face by another teenage girl.

Constable O’Neill said “Following initial enquiries, we have identified four people we believe to be connected to this incident and will be contacting them in due course. I would urge anyone else who was involved in this incident to contact police immediately as failure to do so could be an offence. They can do this by calling Larne on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1380 16/06/17.”
