The Scott funeral was held in Carnmoney Presbyterian Church at 11am on Thursday. They were later buried in Carnmoney Main Cemetery. The men were found dead on Friday, October 28 in a house in Hillview Park, Glengormley.

In the facebook post, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Recent tragic events within the borough reinforce the need for continued efforts to prevent access to such drugs and reflects the importance of working in partnership to keep our communities safe.”

The Times contacted the police to confirm if drugs had played a part in the deaths of Gavin and Mark, but a police spokesman said: “The cause of death remains under investigation.”

Addressing mourners at the funeral, Rev John Dickinson said that it seemed “very obvious” the deaths were linked to drugs.
