Police appeal after girl goes missing in Belfast

Police have made an appeal over the whereabouts of east Belfast girl Caitlyn Jermy.

Caitlyn, who is 16, was last seen at 9:15 am on Wednesday, March 1.

A PSNI spokesman said: "I want to stress that she is not in any trouble. Police have to lay eyes on her to make sure that she is safe. Caitlyn, if you are reading this, please call into your local police station.

"If anyone has any knowledge of where Caitlyn could be, please contact Police on 101 quoting reference number 1168 1/3/17."

Caitlyn was wearing a black duffle coat, peach coloured t-shirt, dark jeans and black shoes. She is approximately 5 foot 3 inches in height, slim build with long brown hair.
